Dog-Friendly Event – All Furry Friends Welcome

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Art Collective (LAAC) and Wilson Cetina Group invite you to Off Grid, an exclusive one-night showcase of rare and select works pulled directly from the private collections of sixteen of LA's most vital street and contemporary artists. Taking place on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 3252 Arroyo Seco Avenue in the North Figueroa Arts District, the event runs from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM – positioning it as the unofficial afterparty of LA Art Week, following the closing hours of both Frieze Los Angeles at Santa Monica Airport and Felix Art Fair at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

While the art world's white-walled fairs wind down for the evening, Off Grid is just getting started. This is the other side of LA Art Week – the raw, rooted, open-air energy that makes this city's creative scene unlike anywhere else on earth. Expect spray-can residue in the air, bass thumping through the warehouse walls, projections casting kaleidoscopic light across every surface, and the kind of art you can only find when you go off the grid.

What to Expect

Off Grid is a multi-sensory experience designed to blur the boundaries between art, music, technology, and community. The evening will feature video installations and live projection mapping by L.A.V.A. (Los Angeles Video Artists), the pioneering LA collective founded in 2003 that explores the intersection of video art and emerging technology. Expect immersive, site-specific projections transforming the venue's architecture into a living canvas of light and motion – from 3D-mapped surfaces to reactive visual environments that pulse with the night's energy.

The sonic atmosphere will be equally charged, with DJ sets and live music running throughout the night, pulling from the same deep well of LA underground culture that has shaped these artists' work for decades. From hip-hop and house to experimental electronic, the sound programming will keep the crowd moving from gallery wall to dance floor and back again.

And because this is LA – and because the best art is experienced with good company – Off Grid is a dog-friendly event. All furry friends are welcome. Bring your pup and let them enjoy the night alongside you. It's that kind of party.

Exhibiting Artists

The sixteen artists exhibiting at Off Grid represent a cross-section of Los Angeles's legendary graffiti and street art lineage – many of whom are featured in the Getty Research Institute's acclaimed L.A. Graffiti Black Book (L.A. Liber Amicorum), a landmark collaboration among 151 Los Angeles graffiti artists. This is a rare opportunity to see intimate, private-collection works from artists whose murals, tags, and installations have defined the visual language of LA for decades.

AISEBORN

Pronounced "Ace-born," Aiseborn developed as an illustrator, graffiti writer, and fine painter in Los Angeles. A member of the legendary UTI Crew, he is known for his breathtaking murals that fuse aerosol portraiture with intricate one-brush-stroke geometric illusions inspired by mandalas, the Flower of Life, and the Adinkrahene. His circular frameworks replicate rhythms intrinsic to nature while his portraits illuminate the essence of universal connection. His work has been exhibited at the California African American Museum, the A+D Architecture and Design Museum, the El Segundo Museum of Art with the Getty Museum, the LA Art Show, and his solo exhibition "Worth the Weight" at the Container Yard in Downtown LA.

ATTAWAY

A Los Angeles–based visual artist contributing to the city's vibrant contemporary and street art scene.

AXIS

A respected LA graffiti artist and contributor to the Getty Research Institute's L.A. Graffiti Black Book, Axis is a key figure in the city's evolving aerosol art movement, known for bold letterforms and dynamic compositions.

CACHE

A Los Angeles–based graffiti artist originally from Guatemala City, Cache has been painting murals wall by wall for over two decades. He is best known for his vibrant, chubby chickens and geometric patterns that have become beloved icons of the LA cityscape – from Echo Park to Silver Lake to South Los Angeles. Influenced by Carlos Castañeda's concept of humans being "trapped in human chicken coops," his work ranges from whimsical designs to community-oriented pieces that revive neglected urban spaces. Cache has exhibited internationally in Romania, Mexico, Guatemala, and the United States. His work is included in the Getty Research Institute's L.A. Graffiti Black Book, and he has created art installations for Coachella Music and Arts Festival, Audiotistic, and Nocturnal Wonderland. He also produced live painting for Roger Waters' Pink Floyd The Wall concert in Bucharest.

DENSE

A fixture in the Los Angeles graffiti scene, Dense brings a bold and layered approach to letterwork and mural production rooted in decades of street-level practice.

EDER

(EderCetina.com) An active member of the Los Angeles Art Collective and a contributor to the Getty Research Institute's L.A. Graffiti Black Book, Eder is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans graffiti, fine art, and collaborative installation work. He has been instrumental in shaping LAAC's mission to create large-scale collaborations that blur boundaries between artist, community, space, and medium. Eder Cetina is also the creative force behind WilsonCetina.Group

FISHE

(Fishe1.com) Fishe's style is influenced by a diverse array of concepts and visual motifs. He identifies his work within the realm of post-graffiti, drawing equally from his street art background and his experimentation with entheogens and meditation. By integrating urban aesthetic elements with op art, geometry, and sacred symbols, he creates a dynamic visual lexicon. His work addresses both the external realities of urban life and the subconscious elements of his inner journeys. Preferring aerosol paints and graffiti markers, he connects his current practice with his longstanding use of these tools, often considered outside the traditional fine art context.

GASO

A LA–based graffiti writer and visual artist whose work reflects the raw energy and stylistic innovation of Southern California's street art culture.

GOGO

A contemporary artist rooted in the Los Angeles creative community, Gogo brings a distinctive visual voice to the Off Grid exhibition lineup.

HEAVEN

Named in LA graffiti slang for the daring practice of painting in elevated, hard-to-reach spots like freeway overpasses and billboards, Heaven is a contributor to the Getty Research Institute's L.A. Graffiti Black Book and a veteran presence in the city's aerosol art scene.

KAURAS

A Los Angeles–based artist bringing a unique perspective to the exhibition through a practice informed by the city's diverse cultural landscape and street art heritage.

KODAK

A visual artist whose work bridges photography, documentation, and street culture, reflecting Los Angeles's layered urban narrative.

SABER

One of the most recognized and respected graffiti artists in the world. Born Ryan Weston Shook in Glendale, California, Saber rose to international fame at age 21 when he completed the largest graffiti piece ever created on the sloping cement bank of the Los Angeles River – a full-color work nearly the size of a football field, requiring 97 gallons of paint and 35 nighttime missions over the course of a year. The piece was visible from satellite imagery. A member of the legendary AWR and MSK crews, Saber attended the San Francisco Art Institute and has since exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide, including MoCA Los Angeles's seminal "Art in the Streets" exhibition and "Street Cred" at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. His monograph SABER: MAD SOCIETY was published by Gingko Press. He continues to create vibrant, mesmerizing, and often politically charged paintings from his studio in Los Angeles.

SHANDU

Also known as Shandu One, a veteran Los Angeles graffiti artist and contributor to the Getty Research Institute's L.A. Graffiti Black Book, whose letterwork and mural practice are deeply embedded in the city's graffiti history.

TANNER

A Los Angeles–based artist adding to the exhibition's diverse range of styles and perspectives drawn from the city's deep well of creative practice.

TRIXTER

A graffiti artist and visual innovator based in Los Angeles, Trixter contributes a dynamic edge to the Off Grid roster with work shaped by decades of engagement with the city's street art scene.

Live Projections by L.A.V.A. (Los Angeles Video Artists)

Founded in 2003, L.A.V.A. is a collective dedicated to promoting and nurturing the evolution of video art through cutting-edge technology in the greater Los Angeles area. Their members work at the forefront of live multimedia performance, LED pixel mapping, 360-degree dome visuals, 3D and 4D projection mapping, interactive and immersive experiences, and audiovisual software and hardware customization. For Off Grid, L.A.V.A. will transform the venue into a fully immersive visual environment – creating a bridge between the static works on the walls and the pulsing, luminous energy of the night.

About the Los Angeles Art Collective (LAAC)

The Los Angeles Art Collective is a group of artists that represent the nuances and diversity of Los Angeles culture. Like the freeways that make up LA's terrain, their work is informed by the city's urbanization. Together, their distinct voices echo the diverse communities and multifarious architecture in the City of Angels. LAAC's mission is to create large-scale collaborations that blur the boundaries of artist, community, space, medium, and identity. From live mural painting to video projection mapping and performance, the collective's multi-disciplinary artists share one common theme: their relationship to this unique city. LAAC has worked with local festivals, institutions, and museums, including curating the exhibition "Beyond Graffiti II" at the A+D Museum and creating interactive installations at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art and The Broad Art Museum.
